Bismillah.

1 September 2020. Tarikh keramat. Takdir dan perancangan Allah membawa dan menyatukan hati kami di bumi- Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Pendidikan Islam (IPGKPI) Bangi, Selangor.

Bermacam asbab yang berbeza namun tetap membawa kami bertemu di sini.

Minggu orientasi cukup singkat dan dipadatkan dengan bermacam aktiviti. Kerana tertulis di suratan, PPISMP kemasukan Jun 2020 di saat seluruh dunia dilanda wabak pandemik Covid-19. Namun ia tidak menghalang niat kami- untuk terus belajar dan belajar.

Walau dalam kepadatan masa, we truly enjoy the process!

Sebelum penghujung minggu orientasi, kami dikenalkan dengan “classmates” yang bakal bersama dan meluangkan masa selama 5 tahun mengharungi cabaran di sini.

Hatta dari serata negeri- Kelantan, Terengganu, Johor, Perak, Pahang, Kedah, Pulau Pinang, Negeri Sembilan dan sebagainya, waktu berjalan membawa kami mengenal erti ukhuwah yang terjalin atas dasar menuntut ilmu dan mencari Redha Ilahi.

What’s good being a teacher?A question that undeniably I’ve been asking myself.

Not a glamour and famous career to chase for,

Not a high paying career to be considered for,

Maybe a more meaningful value that makes teaching career is that special.

Reasons for becoming a teacher are deeper than that.

Here’s few reasons why becoming a teacher is one of the most rewarding jobs.

1.MAKING AN IMPACT ON LIVES

knowing and seeing the evidence that you’ve made an impact on someone’s life,there’s nothing more rewarding than that.Being a good and caring teacher to students can be remembered as one of the best memories the students can have.The compassionate and warm they’ve felt throughout their childhood memories will be treasured and the memories will shape them into someone who will bring warm to others.

2.SURROUNDED WITH LOVE

A simple “I love you Miss” or a doodle from a student on their free time, can instantly put a smile   in face. To be able to teach students and love them while they are in our care,is the best and beautiful thing about teaching career.

3.CREATING OUR OWN WORK ENVIRONMENT

Teachers get to create their own environment (with limitations). Teachers can create a positive environment that will enrich the learning that goes on in the classroom.Teachers could creates the best learning process according to the students’ ability.In weekdays in your classroom, why not make the environment as positive, comfortable, and happy as possible?It’s up to you,you get the freedom to make your class as exciting as you can.

4.FEED YOUR INNER CREATIVITY  

Creativity will come naturally when it is time to set up classroom, create bulletin displays, create engaging lessons and appealing resources.Teaching experiences teach you to spark your inner creativity because it is there even if you haven’t discovered it yet.

5.YOU GET TO TEACH

No matter what you do, don’t take it for granted. If you are given the opportunity to teach, enjoy it and give it your all.Not only you supply them with endless knowledge and skills,  You teach children how to be independent and organized in life.You teach them how to be a good sisters,brothers,friends and generally,a kind human. You teach all of this by simply being an amazing teacher who cares about what you do.
